After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a scenic drive to Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds." The journey covers approximately 96 kilometers and takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax.

Immerse yourself in nature with a leisurely walk along the picturesque banks of the River Lidder. Pahalgam is renowned for its trekking routes and serves as the base camp for the sacred Amarnath Pilgrimage.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Pahalgam by local union cab, covering Aru, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley (2-3 hours).

Chandanwari: Located at an altitude of 2,895 meters and 16 kilometers from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the sacred Amarnath Yatra. The drive from Pahalgam to Chandanwari is scenic, with winding roads, gentle terrains, and steep curves, requiring skilled driving. Beyond Chandanwari, the track becomes steeper and is accessible only on foot or by pony. Along the route, you’ll find the beautiful Sheshnag Lake, located 11 kilometers away, and Panchtarni, another 13 kilometers further, which leads to the final destination—the Amarnath Cave.

Betaab Valley: Just 7 kilometers from Pahalgam, Betaab Valley is named after the Bollywood movie Betaab, which was extensively filmed here. Surrounded by snow-clad mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, the valley is the origin of the River Sheshnag. A beautiful garden with a bridge crossing the river enhances the charm of this picturesque location.

Aru Valley: This quaint village, situated 11 kilometers upstream along the Lidder River, is a serene and picturesque spot. The route to Aru is adorned with breathtaking landscapes and campsites. The village serves as the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier and features a charming meadow. The Lidder River mysteriously disappears at Gur Khumb and reappears 27 meters downstream, adding to the area's allure.

In the evening, visit the local Pahalgam bazaar to explore its quaint shops and local crafts.

After breakfast, proceed for a scenic drive to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers," located at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level. The journey from Pahalgam to Gulmarg spans approximately 145 kilometers and takes around five hours.

Gulmarg is one of India’s most renowned hill resorts, celebrated for its exceptional beauty. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the day exploring Gulmarg and engaging in individual activities.

This picturesque destination is home to the world’s highest green golf course and transforms into India’s premier ski resort during winter. Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure), built by Asif Khan, the brother of Empress Noor Jehan, in 1632 AD, is a stunning example of Mughal garden architecture.

Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Emperor Jehangir in 1633 AD for his wife Noor Jehan, is equally enchanting. Both gardens are situated along the banks of Dal Lake and are framed by the beautiful Zabarwan Mountains.

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, located about 96 kilometers away, approximately a 3-hour drive. Sonamarg is nestled at the head of the Sindh Valley and offers a breathtaking drive through the scenic countryside, with mountains and pine forests surrounding the area.

Sonamarg is known for its stunning landscapes, featuring picturesque walking trails and the option to take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier. A short and scenic walk from Sonamarg leads to Thajiwas, which is famous for its glaciers. The charming beauty of Thajiwas is enhanced by its miniature plateaus, snowfields, pine trees, and islets.

The drive to Sonamarg takes you through the Sindh Valley, showcasing a different aspect of Kashmir's countryside, with snow-covered mountains forming a beautiful backdrop.
